Pichilemu. Round one.

My first trip to Pichilemu. Lindsey and I decided to go check the little surf town out after school and come back that night. I was planning on looking into buying a used surfboard and see what the place was like. It was a three hour bus ride and we arrived a little after 5:00 pm. Unfortanatly, when we got there we figured out our last available bus directly to Santiago left within the hour. We had time to walk the beach, check the waves, and see a lama.

One month in Chile today

I’m studying abroad this semester in Santiago, Chile. This is the fall semester of my junior year at Chico State in Northern CA. I chose Chile because I didn’t know anything about this country. I have a flight back to SF on the 1st of July so I’ll have been here 6 months if all goes according to my plan. I don’t have a plan. I’ve been living in an apartment with two Chilean guys and a Finish guy. Today marks one month since my arrival. I’ll tell you what’s happened since the few days prior to leaving for South America, and do my best to keep you up to date on what happens over the next 5 months.
